After Hurricane Milton, the process with my insurance company was a nightmare—my initial claim was denied because it was below my deductible, and I felt completely stuck.

Mike personally managed the claim, pushing back against the insurance company's low offer. He explored every option, even recommending specialized third-party estimating services to break the impasse in negotiations.

Seacoast's estimate was detailed and thorough, covering a complete roof replacement, interior repairs, and other critical items the insurer initially excluded, resulting in a final approved scope exceeding $100,000. From the original estimate from the insurance of less than $15,000. Mike was always available to answer questions and keep me informed, making me feel supported throughout the entire process.

Seacoast Building & Design is a very professional, high-quality company for any job they take on. The company transformed a very sad-looking duplex in Lehigh Acres into a beautiful, updated duplex. We initially needed a new roof, soffit, and fascia installed after the hurricane, and the roof quality was outstanding. Talking with the company representative, Chandra, we decided to have the entire duplex painted and concrete driveways installed by Seacoast Building & Design. We live out of state, so this process was not easy, but Chandra made sure to keep us informed of every step of the changes. I just had to take a moment to share my wonderful experience with Seacoast Building and Design, and especially with Giancarlo Antonelli, the kind young man who helped me through it all. At my age—I'm 80 now—and not being very good with all this modern technology, it meant the world to have someone like Giancarlo by my side.

After Hurricane Milton, I didn’t even realize my roof had been damaged. Giancarlo came to my door, pointed it out so kindly, and explained how my homeowner’s insurance might cover it. I would have never known! He took care of everything—he met with the insurance man, handled all the paperwork, and made sure I was taken care of. The only thing I had to pay was my deductible.

I’ve dealt with many contractors in my lifetime, and let me tell you, none have been as professional, respectful, and hardworking as this group. The crew was just wonderful—so polite and tidy—and the whole process went smoother than I ever imagined. My new roof looks beautiful, and I feel so relieved knowing it’s all taken care of.

In the fall of 2024, the roof of my in-laws' home on Cardena Lane in Sarasota was damaged by Hurricane Milton. Greg Bertels of Seacoast Building & Design was their contractor. He was EXCELLENT! Let me begin my comments by saying that Seacoast, delivered on ALL promises made. They can be trusted and will deliver on their promises based on my experience with them. They completed our tile roof " on time" and "on budget". There was never any pressure to confirm the commission to install the new tile roof. Different tile roof samples were delivered, free of charge, with no commitments to proceed or use Seacoast as the final contractor. We were completely satisfied with the workmanship and the outstanding leadership from Giancarlo Antonelli of Seacoast Building and Design. We would highly recommend Seacoast Building and Design.
